Application Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Parallax 360, LLC ("Parallax 360," "we," "us") collects through the Parallax 360 application (the "App") and what we do with it. It's separate from the Privacy Policy for this marketing site, which only covers the waitlist and contact forms on parallax360.ai.

What we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (if you sign up with email/password rather than accepting an invite).
• Organization and project content: whatever you and your teammates create in the App — projects, tasks, comments, questions and answers, mission statements, and the AI-maintained project narrative ("Soul") and its edit history.
• Content you connect for ingestion: emails you forward to a project's ingestion address, messages from a connected Slack workspace, and files or text you paste or upload directly. This can include information about people you communicate with who aren't themselves Parallax 360 users.
• Usage and security data: IP address, browser/device information, session and sign-in activity, and an audit log of account-management actions (invites, role changes, sign-ins) — kept for security and so an organization's admins can see what happened in their own org.

How we use it

• To operate the App: authenticate you, keep your organization's data separate from every other organization's, and run the features you use.
• To power the App's AI features: content you or your team add is processed by our AI provider to generate summaries, proposed edits, and drafted answers.
• To keep the App secure and auditable: the usage/security data above.
• To communicate with you: invite emails, password-reset emails, and important service notices.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third-party providers (subprocessors)

Running the App means some data necessarily passes through providers we've chosen and are responsible for:

• AI processing (Anthropic): content you submit may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate summaries, proposed edits, and answers. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, content submitted through the API is not used to train their models.
• Email delivery (Postmark): invite emails, password-reset emails, and project-ingestion email (content you forward to a project's address) are processed through Postmark.
• Hosting (Railway): the App and its database run on Railway's infrastructure.
• Payments (Stripe): if you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe on its own hosted checkout and billing-portal pages — we never receive or store your card number.

These providers process data on our behalf, under their own security commitments, and don't have their own independent right to use your data beyond providing their service to us.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your organization's data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account or your organization's data deleted, email support@parallax360.ai and we'll process the request directly — the App doesn't yet have a self-serve export or delete button, so this is a manual step on our end for now.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time using the contact above. If you're in a jurisdiction with statutory data rights (such as the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), those rights apply here too, through the same request channel.

Security

Passwords and similar credentials are stored using one-way hashing, not in plain text, and sensitive configuration is encrypted at rest. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

The App isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and make a reasonable effort to let account holders know.
